The Role Of Surge Protectors In The New Energy Field
New Energy
With global warming and energy shortages becoming increasingly severe, new energy is gaining increasing prominence in energy strategies around the world. my country is also increasing its investment in renewable energy generation, including photovoltaics, wind power, and nuclear power. Demand for lightning protection products in the new energy industry primarily comes from two sources: surge protective device for wind turbines, photovoltaic array combiner boxes, inverters, and other accessories, and surge protector for sensors and signals; and surge protection device for grounding at power plants.
In 2013, my country's total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation reached 17.16 million kilowatts, 91.424 million kilowatts, and 14.61 million kilowatts, respectively. Year-on-year increases represent 10.66 million kilowatts, 30.004 million kilowatts, and 2.04 million kilowatts, respectively. According to industry development plans, by 2015, the total installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation, wind power, and nuclear power will reach 18.393 million kilowatts, 130 million kilowatts, and 40 million kilowatts, respectively.
