Surge Protector Precautions

1. For surge protective device connected in series, all ports marked "output" on the product must be connected to the protected equipment.

2. When grounding surge protector, carefully and correctly install the ground wire. If the product has separate positive and negative lines, distinguish between the "positive" and "negative" wires.

3. surge protection device should be installed at the front of the protected equipment, adhering to the principle of "as close to the protected equipment as possible" based on the installation conditions.

4. Lightning protection equipment requires regular inspection. If the product deteriorates, please replace it promptly to avoid unnecessary losses.

5. Never work with live power. After installation, check the SPD for any abnormalities before closing the circuit breaker.

6. All our lightning protection products must be grounded. Ensure that the grounding is sound and the direct resistance of the ground wire must not exceed 4 ohms.

7. A short-circuit device must be installed at the front of the SPD in the power supply series to prevent fire caused by short circuits due to SPD deterioration. 8. SPDs without waterproof features must be installed in a waterproof enclosure to prevent water from entering the device and rendering it inoperable. Direct sunlight may discolor the SPD housing but will not affect its operation.
