Current-carrying components use silver-plated T2 copper to support electrical conductivity and contact performance. This helps reduce internal heating and its influence on overload protection characteristics.

Magnetic booster plates on both sides of the arc path work with a permanent magnet inside the fixed-contact assembly to help drive the arc into the arc chute, including under low-current conditions.

The breaker provides a rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 10kA and a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) of 7.5kA, equivalent to 75% of Icu. Applicable voltage ratings depend on the pole configuration.Critical load-bearing components are made of metal when the breaker is closed. The arc chute incorporates 20 interleaved plates that elongate and divide the arc into shorter sections, supporting rapid arc extinction as part of the breaker's interruption system. Multiple exhaust channels guide hot, pressurized gases out of the arc chamber during short-circuit interruption, helping release internal pressure and heat.
